Prof. Charles Deckard, specializing in rare works of art, for purely professional reasons, makes his way to one of the museums of New York and, as if of his own free will, opens a casket - nothing more than the legendary box of Pandora. What happens next, fully corresponds to the ancient Greek myth: hidden under a single lock, all the misfortunes, misfortunes and vices at once fell upon the peaceful townspeople, and with them - and on Deckard. In the sky over New York opens a huge funnel, from where, as if from the cornucopia, there are griffins, werewolves and other mythological monsters. Inhabitants of a megacity are devoured, pecked, torn to pieces, crushed by columns and carried away in an unknown direction. Not ready for such serious consequences and not experienced in dealing with demonic creatures, Charles is left with one thing: to try and close the Pandora's box. What it is necessary to do is to determine the hero himself.
